Sorry I didn't get to the comments yesterday! I read them all, but I was too worried I would spoil something, and it's more fun to see what you all came up with :D. A few people didn't trust him, which is very fair. And yes, his weird witch powers are mostly focused on the ability to fuck with the air, so his hair and clothes don't obey gravity. I'm gonna say that he can't fly necessarily, because that seems too goofy. No other reason, tbh. He could jump off that tree and be fine, though. 

As I mentioned a few times, I hope you guys are ready for all the nonsense that comes after this! I have to figure out how to fit the conclusion of this chapter into ~30 pages, which might actually be a bit of a challenge. There's just a lot happening O_O.

A smarter person might have split this stuff into multiple chapters, but I like things to be contained! Chapter 9 has a whole arc to it, I gotta keep it glued together.
