I think this comic just keeps getting weirder and weirder, whether I want it to or not. I used to draw much looser, but I think my drawings have tightened up a bit because I keep having to look up references for things. Like, I'm sure if I had a lot more time, I could have really upped that drawing of Elias holding a chainsaw to be more dynamic, but just trying to figure out 1) how to draw a chainsaw and 2) how to draw someone holding a chainsaw is hard enough! And no, he's not going to get his elbow cut off. Perspective! It's wild! There are only so many ways to hold a chainsaw, and all of them look like a giant penis.
I was looking for the weirdest yard tool I could find, and voila! Brush grubber! I didn't even know what they are, and I do a lot of yard work. You hook them into small trees and hitch the other end to a truck or backhoe or whatever and pull the whole tree out of the ground. I think you can also hook them around piles of brush you're trying to drag out of an area all at once. Seems useful! They look hilarious.
Okay, I'd write more, but I have to go buy Christmas presents for random anonymous children and get my oil changed!
