Vote over at TWC and you can see Elias being surprised!

I don't usually like panels where someone is talking but their mouth is closed, but the kiss on the cheek (glasses?) was more important. (I couldn't find reference of anyone kissing someone on the cheek with their glasses on, don't worry about it. Maybe the action is slightly post-kiss.)

I needed a page of cute MarMar things, and also to show Elias's angst over being lovelorn (SAME), and also to show that we've found some things but nothing that's useful yet.

Only two more pages in this scene! Which means I only have one more page where I have to draw chairs! I started drawing their dining chairs like this early on, and I've never really gotten the hang of drawing them the way I mean them to look, so maybe the next time they're around the Marin and Marisa dining table...they'll have gone shopping for new chairs.
