Everyone understood that you CAN use a werewolf as a magic battery, but no one asked if you SHOULD. Or I guess, no one checked the werewolf maintenance manual to make sure what the safe threshold of werewolf battery drainage is before there are consequences.

The best part of this page is that I didn't have to draw the house or any vines! That was nice! It won't last, I have to do that in the next page, but it was a fun vacation. We have...about five pages left before I get to just chuck this whole chapter onto a roller coaster and plunge it down a steep drop, so I'm looking forward to that. Setting up a story so the end of a chapter has real impact is very exhausting, and I'd rather just draw everyone running around in the dark trying not to die. More fun!
