If you're wondering, how could you make money from going to college? If you choose a small, regional university like the one in Crescent Lake, and it's a public in-state school, you can usually qualify for hella financial aid and scholarships and whatnot depending on your financial circumstances and degree level. I think Elias would qualify after doing his financial aid stuff, especially since he has so many siblings and only his mom has a real income. Who knows! But he could make a little bit to help cover some costs, I think.
