Thank you to everyone who came to see me at Comicopolis on Saturday! It was fun! If you live in the Chicago-ish area, check out my upcoming convention appearances. Everything is free :). 

I swear that I know how to draw Marcus like, half the time. I think that's fair because it took me 5-8 years to draw Vincent and Elias consistently and even that is a crap shoot, so poor Marcus is getting the same learning curve treatment. It annoys me because from time to time, I've been able to draw him like 110% how I want, and the rest of the time, I'm sitting there thinking "who the fuck is this tho?" and I can't fix his face to save my life. Being an artist is a strange job. Anyway, I think I introduced some weird new transformation step in this page because I wanted to show Aubrey very much in the midst of transforming rather than all the way there or just starting, because I think it reflects her eagerness to jump into the fray. I guess I could have had more fluff coming out of more places but that also seems to extreme for what I'm picturing. If this were animation, it would be a very cool sequence, but alas, I gotta boil the vibe down into one panel and brevity is already not my strong suit. 

If you live in or around the Chicago area, I'll be at some library conventions coming up for the rest of the summer! The Eisenhower Library in Harwood Heights on Sept 14th, and Gail Borden Library in Elgin on Oct 19th. I'll keep social media updated closer to the events to remind people! I had to cancel on CAKE because I had another obligation that day! Sorry anyone who wanted to see me there. Pray for me, I don't usually leave the house for this many things lol
