Vote over at TWC and you can see Aubrey working hard in tomorrow's page
My explanation for why Aubrey is still hanging in there is that she's technically a born werewolf, not a bitten one, which gives her a slight leg up on the others. Also, Connie's small amount of mercy for her actual daughter is that Aubrey is getting drained last, whether Connie is aware of it or not.
In order to save my sanity, I'm dropping to one page next week, and possibly the following week. I'm not sure yet! I plan to generally stay at two pages a week, if only because so much happens in this chapter and I don't want to ruin the pacing. As per usual, I know y'all don't mind if I make fewer pages, but this comic does help keep my week structured. Also, a chunk of my income comes from ad revenue (please white list my site, thank you! I know the ads are weird sometimes, take a screenshot of any ads that seem hostile or take over your screen and I'll let Hiveworks know), and dropping the number of pages I post per week also hits my bank account a bit. One day I'll make actual human money from all this work lol.
There are general plans to run a Kickstarter for the first volume of HTBAW (Ch 1-6), but obviously they've been pushed back again with coronavirus. To take advantage of the delay, we're discussing starting work on the second volume now, and then shotgunning the Kickstarters (or running them together maybe?) to get more physical copies made when things are a bit more normal, rather than waiting to do the second volume. Chapter 10 would be the end of volume 3 (chapters 9 and 10), so I think that would be good timing. I have a lot of stuff left over from C2E2, so when it's less terrifying to go to the post office on a regular basis, I'm hoping to open a small online store to help clear out my stash.
Feel free to check out my goofy Amazon store if you're so inclined, or I have some merch up on Society6 if you're looking for my old store link! Thanks to everyone who's come out to support me through Ko-fi and Patreon (links below, I'm too tired to link more things), you're really keeping me sane when the world is on fire :).
