Anyway, welcome to "Malaya's gonna alpha with her own methods" time! Instead of concentrating on the werewolf thing and nothing else, she's going for a more balanced "let's manage our emotions in a healthy way!" approach, because I write this series and I think that's important to promote. Also, she's been knitting since chapter 4 so we might as well make it officially a thing. This also gives me another opportunity to delve into the control issues Malaya has versus how the other werewolves are handling it :). Narrative!
Some things I've done during the pandemic to help chill out my brain that are also constructive include cleaning, hiking, taking walks, gardening, playing violin, drawing, and cards. Just cards in general! I like having things to do with my hands when I'm restless, so a lot of times I watch TV and play Solitaire. I find shuffling the cards is very calming as well, so a lot of times, on long meetings and Zoom calls, I'll end up shuffling cards the whole time. Busy fingers makes for a calm brain!

I haven't forgotten about my idea for a contest yet! It got a bit waylaid because my life is chaos and I'm trying to get a million things done this month it seems, but we'll come back to it one day! In the meantime, there's new merch up at the Hivemill store. HTBAW Fandom Wiki is up and running! Thanks to Myk Streja for tons of help with moderation efforts and everyone else who's done a ton of work on adding information and filling out the Wiki. I know nothing about how this stuff works and I'm too old to learn :D.
