It's the very beginning of spring, but spring isn't quite springing yet, so my brain feels like mush. Luckily, everyone else I know is in the same boat, so I guess it's fine. It hailed a few days ago? Midwest life keeps you hardy.

Anyway, there was a lot of interesting chatter about this scene in the comments the last few weeks! I've been fighting with how to even write this chapter, because the idea of navigating a werewolf meeting her human family after being abducted is a shit show that I haven't found a total solution for yet. I think we're going to end up seeing what the council is actually good for in this instance, because they're the mediary (my browser doesn't think that's a word?) between the human world and the werewolf world, so Harvey won't have to do this by herself. And Marin will help too, but she's mostly there in a lawyer context, I think.
