Lol sorry to anyone who thought Lucas was really turning over a new leaf. He kind of did! But he's still himself. I love writing him because he's pure chaos, which is a very useful character to have in a story from a writing perspective! His main motivation is Ella. He's mentally not that deep. His actions are mostly self-serving or to protect Ella. He doesn't have a lot of empathy, but he's also necessarily evil. I've known a couple people like him who are like, low-grade sociopaths. You can't really hate them because they're generally friendly, but they'll pull off the occasional move where you're left wondering if you know them at all. 

Anyway, this chapter is SO CLOSE to being done. I think I can wrap it up sometime next month, and then I'll be at a small library convention in Lockport, IL on 7/29 called Comicopolis. Look for me outside! I'll be probably very toasty.
