Vote over at TWC and you can see Marin making a plan

The full moon must suck when you're a werewolf. You can't get drunk enough to ignore the effect of the moon, and you probably still have stuff to get done during the day that doesn't involve hunting rabbits or running around in the woods to work off energy. 

It's interesting to write Marin as a character, because she's maternal, but she's also very practical and take charge and stubborn. Marisa is more brash and loud, but she's overall better with feelings and comforting people than Marin is, actually. Marin expects everyone to live up to their highest potential because she's used to being a high achiever herself, which makes her fun to write as a character. She's not who you go to if you want to be coddled.
