I'm distracted posting this because my cat is fighting my plant and it's very cute but also I want her to stop. Anyway, I was originally thinking more of a throwdown, but we've already done that through Harvey and Marin this chapter, so I wanted this to be a different type of confrontation. I've seen a lot of good discussion in the comments about what the underlying dynamics are here, which we'll be diving into throughout this chapter, but for now, just know that Abigail isn't just worried about Julian. She's sincerely been friends with Tom for a long time and has known him since before he was like this and is reluctant to confront the reality of dealing with him in this state. Everyone is doing their werewolf best lol.
