It would probably be the bedroom from the adjacent apartment. Then again, apartments in imaginary Crescent Lake in 2015 weren't probably all that expensive.)

I don't even like purple that much, but it just works for Charlene. I ended up using purple in a lot of this comic because it complements Malaya's skin tone so well, but also works okay with Elias and Charlene. Blue is my favorite color, but purple comes off as much warmer, so I prefer to use purples and pinks so the comic doesn't feel so dreary. I'm aiming for warm, happy werewolves (and witches).

Charlene's head wrap thing is to help her curly hair not frizz up. When you have very, very curly hair, it helps to either sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase, or to cover your hair with silk or satin to maintain the curls and cut down on static that causes them to look like a mess when you wake up. This also saves me from having to draw her hair on half of this page, which is great because I'm tired yaaaaay!

All right, I have many more things to do today, so I'm gonna go do them. Have a good time! Sorry Charlene didn't get jumped in her apartment, the story is too early on for that kind of drama lol. Saving the big guns for later!

I haven't forgotten about my idea for a contest yet! It got a bit waylaid because my life is chaos and I'm trying to get a million things done this month it seems, but we'll come back to it one day! In the meantime, there's new merch up at the Hivemill store. I added some new prints and tshirts finally, so if you like my comic and would like to support me, please go see if there's something you like! HTBAW Fandom Wiki is up and running! Thanks to Myk Streja for tons of help with moderation efforts and everyone else who's done a ton of work on adding information and filling out the Wiki. I know nothing about how this stuff works and I'm too old to learn :D.
