I think this gets as close to the name of the chapter as I could without being hokey. Though, the line is "something precious to the earth" not "to this earth", but I was very tired that morning. And I like this better, sorry Mary Oliver.

All right, I have to go get cleaned up and get my car serviced because I actually have 5000 more miles before I need another oil change, but it's also been uh, a long time since I had one. Quarantine means I haven't been driving at all, so I guess it's time.
ETA: Sorry, a lot of people pointed out that I forgot that Malaya had ripped her shirt when she got out of the vines! I kept drawing it like normal because it totally slipped my mind (rips and tears are hard to remember when you're drawing on autopilot). I have a few pages that I need to add it back into and the others, she's mostly facing away or the rip wouldn't be necessarily visible, so I'm going to leave them alone. I'll fix it eventually!

I made a Fandom Wiki for HTBAW. I did very little to it, because I don't know what I'm doing and I'm too tired/busy to learn, but if you'd like to help edit it and add things, please feel free. (I've also not had time to check into this, but I'm going to assume anyone who cares to update it probably has a thing for accuracy, so I'll periodically check to add things when I can.
