Normally I'd tell you to vote over at TWC, but it seems to be down today, so don't worry about it!

I'm back! This page is done! Somehow! I think I've mostly recovered from working the election last week, and I still don't seem to have coronavirus, so I have a good feeling. I'll have a better feeling when I get my check in the mail, the bit of money back from my state taxes that I'm expecting, the check from a graphic design project I worked on last month, and also somehow finish my to do list for the Kickstarter for volume one. With everything going on right now, the project got pushed back, because who in their right mind would want to launch a project asking people for money during a pandemic when everyone is out of work? Woof. But the current plan is to push it back, add volume two onto the slate, and then shot gun both Kickstarters back to back, so the wait won't be as long to get the next volume. That'll get us up through chapter 8! Fingers crossed the world isn't on fire forever so we can do that.

I've taken a bit of a break from social media for the week, and it just feels so much better. The constant mindfuck of Twitter isn't good for anyone, I think. The dopamine hits of likes and retweets and followers followed by the crash every time you find something that upsets you (which is most of the time). It was the same reason I don't check Tumblr anymore, and spend very little time on Facebook. I have a friend who doesn't even have the internet at home. She reads books and shit. She might be smarter than the rest of us tbh ;). 

Anyway, things are starting to come apart for Connie! I've laid out the next six or so pages, which will finish off this scene, but there are just so many moments I had to pack in before this chapter wraps up. I've thrown away my original plan from 85 or so pages and just going to take the time I need to get everything in. There are no rules, this is 2020.
